PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel protection device capable of exerting excellent workability of blood vessel sampling by protecting a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A blood vessel protection device 100 includes a guide device 200 which is inserted into an organism along a large saphenous vein 1000, and a protection device 300 which is configured by spirally winding a filament 301 and which moves by being guided by the guide device 200, while positioning the large saphenous vein 1000 therein by rotating.
