PURPOSE: A composition containing a red ginseng extract, a peppermint extract, a cinnamon extract, a Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extract, and an Ulmus macrocarpa Hance extract as active ingredients for anti-inflammation and antibacterial effects in oral cavity and for removing bad breath is provided to remove nicotine and foreign materials and Streptococcus mutans by precipitation. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a composition for anti-inflammation and antibacterial effects in oral cavity and for removing bad breath comprises: a step of mixing 2.0 wt% of a red ginseng extract, 0.5 wt% of a peppermint extract, 0.5 wt% of an Ulmus macrocarpa Hance extract, 0.5 wt% of a Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extract, and 2.0 wt% of a cinnamon extract with remaining amount of purified water； a step of adding 0.01-0.5 wt% of sodium fluoride, 0.01-2.0 wt% of allantoin, 0.1-5.0 wt% of xylitol, 0.040 wt% of a green tea extract, 0.100 wt% of sodium benzoate, 0.01-5.0 wt% of lactic acid, 0.01-0.095 wt% of citric acid, 0.05 wt% of sodium citrate, 0.1 wt% of malic acid, 0.06 wt% of caramel color, and 0.01 wt% of the red ginseng extract and completely dissolving； a step of adding and dissolving 0.050 wt% of L-menthol in 6.0 wt% of ethanol and dissolving； and a step of adding 1.0-8.0 wt% of glycerin and 0.02 wt% of a perfume and completely dissolving. [Reference numerals] (AA) Once； (BB) Twice； (CC) Three times； (DD) Average； (EE) Comparison test solution； (FF) Test solution본 발명은 구강내 항염, 항균 및 소취를 위한 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 홍삼 추출물, 박하 추출물, 계피 추출물, 감초 추출물 및 유백피 추출물을 활성성분으로 포함하는 본 발명의 구강내 항염, 항균 및 소취를 위한 조성물은 동양의학에서 오랫동안 항균 및 소취 효과가 있는 것으로 알려지고 구강질환에 관습적으로 사용되어 온 홍삼, 감초, 계피, 박하, 유백피에서 항균 및 소취 효과가 있고 산성을 띠고 있는 유용성분을 추출하여 충치균에 대한 항균력을 검증하고 구취제거 효과를 알아보기 위하여 담배 니코틴 제거실험 결과 87.5%의 니코틴 제거능력을 보였다. 또한, 구강내 잔류하는 음식물찌꺼기, 치석 그리고 충치세균 등의 제거능력을 실험한 결과 구강내의 많은 이물과 충치균인 스트렙토코커스 무탄스(Streptococcus mutans)균이 함께 침전물을 형성하여 제거됨을 확인할 수 있었다.
