The present disclosure is related to a passive rehabilitation system for lower limbs in adults. The system operates in the patients leg by sliding links built of aluminum and which are adapted to suit the patients height, from 30 cm up to a maximum of 50 cm. supporting a maximum weight of 100 Kg. The system comprises a transmission box for raising the torque up to a maximum of 144 Nm to the link of the femur of the patient. The transmission box is based on sets of sprockets and chains which raise the torque in three phases of 1:2, using sprockets of between 15 and 30 teeth respectively. The link system has a rotation-extension mechanism allowing the links to be coupled to the morphology of the users knee at the time of the therapy, avoiding possible scratches during prolonged use. The system is controlled by a user interface having three ways for creating therapeutic routines. The editor mode allows using commands to create therapeutic routines based on the positions and time of ar rival of each link. The editor mode is also able to save routines and open them in .rhp format. The editor mode also comprises a debugger mode to find programming errors before simulating or running the routine in the rehabilitation system. The capture mode allows creating therapeutic routines based on slider controls this mode creates the routine in the editor mode and is able to place the device in manual mode to use the slider controls. The teaching mode allows creating a routine using the system’s cursor to position the virtual leg of the same in different positions for creating the therapeutic routine in editor mode. In the teaching mode, limits can be set at the time of creating a routine, and is possible to mobilize only one element at a time.Esta invención hace referencia a un sistema de rehabilitación pasiva para extremidades inferiores en adultos.
