PURPOSE: A non-circular inner lumen guiding catheter equipped with an auxiliary variable support is provided to ensure variable linear flexibility and prevent the occurrence of twisting phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A non-circular inner lumen guiding catheter includes a long wall structure which defines inner lumen(54) and outer lumens(62a, 62b). The long wall structure extends the length of the catheter. The cross section of the inner lumen is non-circular. The cross sections of the outer lumens are in the shape of curves which are parts of an ellipse. The rigidity of outer walls of the outer lumens is varied by the lengths of the outer walls.보조 가변 지지체를 구비한 비원형 내부 루멘 안내 카테터는 동맥류의 치료를 위한 것과 같은, 신경혈관 결손의 치료를 위한 다수의 마이크로카테터 또는 다른 장치의 전달에 사용하기 위해 비원형 단면 형상의 루멘을 한정하는 내부 벽을 갖는다. 보조 가변 지지체를 구비한 비원형 내부 루멘 안내 카테터는, 선형적으로는 가요성이지만 원주방향으로는 그렇지 않고 붕괴가능하지도 않고 비틀림가능하지도 않은 토크 전달 안내 벽을 포함한다. 내부 루멘의 비원형 형상의 단면은 원위 또는 근위를 포함하여, 카테터의 전체 길이 또는 그 일부분을 따라 연장할 수 있다.
