In order to simplify renal ablation, for example, and to shorten the amount of time the patient is exposed to pain, a torsionally stiff wire (5) rotatable about the axis thereof is disposed between the shaft (1) and the tip (3), the wire being connected to a preloaded film (7, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4) rolled up around the wire (5), on the outer surface (8) of which at least one conductor point (9), preferably a plurality of conductor points, is disposed, wherein each conductor point (9) can be connected to a current and/or voltage source.
