A fixation clamp (10), more particularly for use in an external fixation system for holding bone fragments adjacent to each other with the help of fixation elements, comprising at least one clamping assembly (20, 30) having at least one reception (71, 72, 73) provided by means of grooves (51, 52, 53) to accommodate a fixation element along the longitudinal axis of the reception (71, 72, 73) and at least one locking element (40) extending through the clamping assemblies (20, 30) for blocking the position of the clamping assemblies (20, 30) in a defined angular position. The clamping assembly (20, 30) comprises a first jaw (11) and a second jaw (12) which are in contact with each other via respective contact surfaces (18, 19). The clamping assembly (20, 30) comprises at least two orientation devices (13, 14) that extend from and/or into said contact surfaces (18, 19) which at least two orientation devices (13, 14) serve to orient the first jaw (11) with respect to the second jaw (12).
