PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide generator solving problems in which instruments attracting and capturing blood-sucking insects such as mosquitos with carbon dioxide as a main attractant generate carbon dioxide by sublimation of dry ice, combustion of combustible gas or the like, but the dry ice is hard to be stored and the combustible gas has a disadvantage such as involving risk of fire or the like when used, furthermore, the generation of carbon dioxide finishes after a chemical reaction finishes in a method for generating carbon dioxide through the chemical reaction of a carbonate and an acid and the carbon dioxide cannot be generated for a long time.SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide can be generated for a long time through a chemical reaction by continually adding an acidic aqueous solution to the carbonate in small quantities as shown in Fig. 1. The invention can be diverted to various uses.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】炭酸ガスを主な誘引物質として、蚊などの吸血性昆虫を誘引捕獲する機器は、ドライアイスの昇華や可燃ガスの燃焼などによって炭酸ガスを発生させている。しかし、ドライアイスは保管が困難であり、可燃ガスは使用時に火災等の危険性が伴うなどの欠点がある。また、炭酸塩と酸との化学反応により炭酸ガスを発生させる方法についても、化学反応が終われば炭酸ガスの発生は終了となり、炭酸ガスを長時間発生させることができなかった。【解決手段】図1の様に、酸性水溶液を少量ずつ持続的に炭酸塩に添加することにより、化学反応で炭酸ガスを長時間発生させることができる。また、この発明は種々の用途に転用できる。【選択図】図1
