A catheter for changing insertion direction of a guide wire according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may be inserted in a body along the guide wire inserted in the body through a puncture region, and may change the insertion direction of the guide wire. The catheter may include: a hollow hub having an entrance at one end thereof, the guide wire being inserted in the entrance a tubular member connected to the other end of the hub, extending in a length direction thereof, and having an exit at the other end thereof, the guide wire coming out through the exit and a direction changing hole formed at the tubular member, the guide wire coming out through the direction changing hole so as to change the insertion direction of the guide wire.Dans un mode de réalisation illustratif de la présente invention, un cathéter permettant de changer la direction dinsertion dun fil guide peut être inséré dans un corps le long du fil guide inséré dans le corps par une zone de ponction, et peut changer la direction du fil guide. Ledit cathéter peut comprendre : une embase creuse présentant une entrée à une de ses extrémités, le fil guide étant inséré dans lentrée un élément tubulaire raccordé à lautre extrémité de lembase, sétendant dans le sens de longueur de cette dernière, et présentant une sortie à son autre extrémité, le fil guide sortant par ladite sortie et un orifice de changement de direction ménagé sur lélément tubulaire, le fil guide sortant par lorifice de changement de direction de manière à changer la direction dinsertion du fil guide.
