PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which demonstrates expected functions with a relatively simple structure and is excellent in sanitation as well, and a valve body for the connector used in the connector.SOLUTION: The valve body 5A for the connector includes: a head part 21 with a plug part 21a having a flat surface or a curved surface a support tilting part 22a having a head support part 31a and a gap part 34a radially extended from the end face of the head part 21 and tilting the head part 21 by a pressure in the direction of an axis C and a part 23a to be held, which is arranged at the distal end of the head support part 23a.
