PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire support catheter capable of adjusting rigidity of a shaft easily.SOLUTION: A guide wire support catheter 1 is a guide wire support catheter 1 including a proximal end and distal end, and comprises a shaft 2 including: an inner cylinder member 3 having a first lumen 5 through which a guide wire is inserted and an outer cylinder member 4 arranged on an outer side of the inner cylinder member 3 and having a second lumen 6 where fluid is supplied between the inner cylinder member 3 and outer cylinder member.
