PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photon counting CT apparatus capable of calibrating gain of a detector with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An X-ray source 131 includes: a cathode generating electrons and an anode having a plurality of targets capable of generating each plurality of characteristic X-rays different in energy. A photon counting CT apparatus 15 detects X-ray photons generated from the X-ray source 131.
