Described herein are methods for treating breast cancer in a subject. In particular, methods are provided for treating metastatic triple negative breast cancer using a combination of entinostat and an anti-PD-L1 antibody such as MPDL3280A. A kit for treating metastatic triple negative breast cancer comprising a combination of entinostat and anti-PD-L1 antibody is also described. The anti-PD-L1 antibody can be MPDL3280A.
