The present invention relates to a method for preparing a natural pesticide by using a medicinal plant. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for preparing a natural pesticide by using a medicinal plant in which vegetable medicinal plants including Melia azedarach L. and Quisqualis Fructus are used to prepare a pesticide so that an environmentally friendly natural pesticide is prepared having a pesticidal effect to eradicate cockroach and rice weevil, etc. without toxicity to the human body； and toxicity of Melia azedarach L. and Quisqualis Fructus are reduced by adding the medicinal plant into glutinous rice water so that pesticidal ability can be provided with optimized lethal dose within a harmless range to the human body. For ahceive this, the present invention provides a method for preparing a natural pesticide by using a medicinal plant, the method is being characterized by (a) dissolving glutinous rice powder in water or mixing glutinous rice with water, and then heating the resultant to prepare glutinous rice water； (b) filtering a chunk from the glutinous rice water prepared in step (a), and adding a medicinal plant including Melia azedarach L. and Quisqualis Fructus； (c) soaking the medicinal plant added in step (b) into glutinous rice water, scooping the medicinal plant, and then drying； and (d) placing the dried medicinal plant a location where an insect appears.본 발명은 약용작물을 이용한 천연 살충제 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 고련피와 사군자를 포함하는 식물성 약용작물을 이용하여 살충제를 제조함으로써 바퀴벌레, 쌀벌레 등을 퇴치하는 살충의 효과 뿐만 아니라 인체에 무해하고 친환경적인 천연 살충제를 제조하며, 약용작물을 찹쌀물에 첨가하여 고련피와 사군자가 지니는 독성을 순화시킴으로써 인체에 유해하지 않는 범위 내에서 최적의 치사량으로 살충할 수 있도록 제공하는 약용작물을 이용한 천연 살충제 제조방법에 관한 것이다.이를 위해 본 발명은 (a) 찹쌀 가루를 물에 풀거나 찹쌀을 물과 혼합한 후 가열하여 찹쌀물을 제조하는 단계； (b) (a) 단계에서 제조한 찹쌀물에서 덩어리를 여과시킨 후 고련피와 사군자를 포함하는 약용작물을 첨가하는 단계； (c) (b) 단계에서 첨가한 약용작물을 찹쌀물에 담근 후 건져내어 건조하는 단계； 및 (d) 건조시킨 약용작물을 벌레 출몰위치에 놓는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 약용작물을 이용한 천연 살충제 제조방법을 제공한다.
