PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type husbandry machine by which ridging work can be simply carried out with a rubber hanging.
SOLUTION: A tail wheel unit 30 includes an auxiliary frame 31 protrudingly mounted backward from a tilling device 11, a first support rod 32 protrudingly attached downward from the auxiliary frame 31, a second support rod 33 attached to be turnable to the first support rod, a tail wheel 34 attached to the second support rod to be rotatable and a support means 50 for supporting the second support rod at an arbitrary turned position to the first support rod, and includes the rubber hanging 15 covering the tilling device from backward between the tilling device and the tail wheel unit. In a state in which the second support rod is held by the support means so as to locate the tail wheel above the lowest position of the tilling device, the first support rod constituting the tail wheel unit is brought to be able to contact to the lateral center of the rubber hanging, thereby the riding work can be performed by laterally pushing soil dug up by the tilling device with lateral sides of the rubber hanging.
