A device (100) for displacing structures in a patient's body having: a handle (126)； an inner longitudinal member (110) fixed in position relative to the handle； an outer longitudinal member (112) coaxial with the inner longitudinal member, the outer longitudinal member movable relative to the inner longitudinal member between a retracted position and an extended position； and at least one resilient blade (114) extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the proximal end of the at least one resilient blade mechanically fixed in position relative to the outer longitudinal member； wherein the distal end of the at least one resilient blade is engaged with the inner longitudinal member when the outer longitudinal member is in its extended position and disengaged from the inner longitudinal member when the outer longitudinal member is in its retracted position.
