By attaching this cylinder to a standard forceps when conducting endoscopic surgery using such instruments as a laparoscope or a thoracoscope, and by placing this cylinder behind tissue and illuminating the blood vessels of the organ (stomach, large intestine, small intestine, esophagus and the like) having a lesion to be resected, it is possible to see through the blood vessels of the tissue. Thus, the blood vessels of the target lesion can be more accurately ascertained. A suction function of the cylinder suctions blood, and the cylinder also has a function for injecting a physiological saline solution and washing, and excluding and avoiding a tissue. With this configuration, the target lesion can be safely resected and the resection time can be shortened. When conducting endoscopic surgery using such instruments as a laparoscope or a thoracoscope, this cylinder (1) is attached to a standard forceps inserted into an insertion port of a laparoscope or a thoracoscope. The cylinder and forceps are inserted into the abdominal cavity or the thoracic cavity and placed behind the target organ, and by causing illumination units (6, 7) to light, it is possible to see through blood vessels. As a result, the location of blood vessels can be accurately ascertained. Due to these suction, injection, and exclusion functions, endoscopic surgery can be safely conducted.
