PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus capable of not only performing a urine test but also easily observing various kinds of enteric bacteria, even though conventional toilet apparatuses have been focused on urinalysis to examine the presence or absence of urine sugar or the like.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, the toilet apparatus comprises bedpan, a well plate, a subject obtained from excrement excreted in a toilet bowl, an observation section where the state of intestinal bacteria in excrement excreted in the toilet bowl by a person being excreted is observed using the well plate, and an observation-result output section where the result of the observation is output.
