The present invention relates to a composition comprising a shoot extract of Actinidia arguta as an active ingredient for preventing or treating non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases. The shoot extract of Actinidia argute of the present invention has effects in reducing insulin in serum and blood sugar increased in the body due to high fat and high sugar ingestion, reducing the neutral lipid content and the lipid content in liver tissue, and having anti-inflammatory activities by inhibiting generation of TNF-&alpha；, MCP-1, and IL-6, which are inflammatory cytokines. The extract of the present invention can be usefully used for preventing or treating non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases. Particularly, the shoot extract of Actinidia argute as a natural substance can be broadly used for herbal medicine. Therefore, the composition comprising the same as an active ingredient of the present invention is safe even if the composition is used for a long period of time.본 발명은 다래순 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 비알콜성 지방간질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 다래순 추출물은 고지방 및 고당의 섭취로 인해 체내에서 증가된 혈당 및 혈청 내 인슐린을 감소시키고, 간 조직의 지질함량 및 중성지방 함량을 감소시키는 효과가 있으며, 염증성 사이토카인인 TNF-α, MCP-1 및과 IL-6의 생성을 억제하여 항염 활성을 갖는 효과가 있어, 본 발명의 추출물은 비알콜성 지방간질환의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 특히 이러한 다래순 추출물은 천연물질로서, 한방으로 널리 쓰이는 약재에 해당하므로, 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 본 발명의 조성물은 장기적 사용에도 안전한 이점을 가진다.
