A disposable ablation probe, comprising: a hypotube shaft having a proximal end and a distal end an inner conductor disposed along a longitudinal axis of the hypotube shaft an insulator disposed about the inner conductor an outer conductor disposed about the insulator a coolant tube disposed between the hypotube and the outer conductor and defining an inflow conduit and an outflow conduit a cooling chamber defined within the distal end of the hypotube shaft and in fluid communication with at least one of the inflow conduit or the outflow conduit and a coupling member disposed at a proximal end of the hypotube shaft configured to operably couple the hypotube shaft to a handle.
