The invention relates to a mini-box for non-ionizing radiation disinfection of instruments, such as probes employed in dental and general medicine. According to the invention, the mini-box consists of a metal casing (1) wherein there are cut some orifices (2) wherethrough there are introduced the probes (S) to be disinfected, inside said orifices (2) there being provided some caps (3) opening upon the probe introduction and closing upon the removal of the probe, due to some spring mechanisms, within the casing (1) there being mounted: a grate (4) on which some perforated cylindrical supports (5) are attached for sustaining the probes in a vertical position, and a UV-C radiation generator (6) which leads to ozone generation by photochemical reactions, said generator (6) being positioned, by some sockets (7) fixed on the side walls of the casing (1), above a circular mirror (8), so that the reflected radiation flux is highly divergent, leading to the increase of disinfection efficiency, the concentration of the ozone formed therein being controlled by means of an ozone sensor (SO) mounted at the upper part of the casing (1) and communicating to a microcontroller (MC) which controls the connection/disconnection of the generator (6).Invenţia se referă la o miniboxă pentru dezinfecţie cu radiaţii neionizante a unor instrumente cum ar fi, de exemplu, sonde, utilizate în medicina dentară şi generală.
