PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device that can prevent a person to be transferred from being shifted from a holder.SOLUTION: The transfer device 10 includes: a holder 16 that faces the front side of the body of a person to be transferred, and holds the person to be transferred； a drawing unit in which the holder 16 is inclined in the condition that maintains the vertical direction position of the lower end of the holder 16, thereby the person to be transferred is inclined forward, and that draws the line of the backbone curved from the hip to the back of the person to be transferred； and a lifter that lifts the person to be transferred in the condition that the line of the backbone of the person to be transferred is drawn by the drawing unit.【課題】被移乗者が保持具からずれるのを防止することができる移乗装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る移乗装置１０は、被移乗者の胴部の前面側と対峙し、被移乗者を保持する保持具１６と、保持具１６の下端部の上下方向位置を維持した状態で、保持具１６を傾斜させることにより、被移乗者を前傾させ、被移乗者の腰から背中にかけて曲がった背筋を伸ばす延伸手段と、延伸手段により被移乗者の背筋が伸びた状態で、被移乗者を持ち上げるリフト手段とを備える。【選択図】図１
