The grooves of the working wings are on one axis. The spring clip comprises a vertical arm (31) one end of the vertical arm is connected to the base, while the other end is extended along the direction of the axis forming an arm tip (32). The spring clip faces the inner edge of the axis and forms together with the groove an arc wire groove (4). Upon entry of an arc wire into the arc wire groove, the spring clip can restore rapidly to the original form thereof, while the arm tip of the spring clip extending into the arc wire groove effectively holds the arc wire within the arc wire groove. The engagement is thus stable, and the orthodontic force of the arc wire can be fully utilized.
