Disclosed is an absorbent article having: a laminate that has an absorber including water-absorbent resin particles and a fibrous material, and a core wrap sandwiching the absorber from above and below； a liquid-permeable sheet disposed on the upper surface of the laminate； and a liquid-impermeable sheet disposed on the opposite side of the laminate from the liquid-permeable sheet, wherein: the water-absorbent resin particles include a crosslinked polymer having a monomer unit derived from an ethylenic unsaturated monomer including at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic acid and salts thereof, and inorganic particles； the proportion of (meth)acrylic acid and salts thereof to the total monomer units in the crosslinked polymer is 70-100 mol%； and the absorbent article satisfies conditions (a) and (b).
