PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type absorptive article in which the side part of an absorptive body of which easily fits to the body of a wearer when worn, which is adaptable also to force in a direction to the underside of the crotch without strongly tightening the waistline and/or the circumference of the legs of the wearer even after excretion after worn so as to be effectively prevented from sliding off, and which makes diaper maintain favorable body-following properties and leakage-preventing properties.SOLUTION: The pants-type absorptive article includes: a crista iliaca area 62 lying between a waist opening part 11 and a leg opening part 12 at a ventral-side part F and covering the crista iliaca of the wearer when worn a front-side elastic member 81 ranging from a part upper than the crista iliaca area at the side edge part of the ventral-side part or the circumference thereof to a crotch-underside part C through the crista iliaca area and a back-side elastic member 83 ranging from the side edge part of a back-side part R or the circumference thereof to the crotch-underside part. The side edge parts of the ventral-side part and the back-side part are joined with each other at side seal parts 7 so that the front-side elastic member and the back-side elastic member are connected to each other.
