The present invention provides an immunomodulator for use in the treatment and/or control of a neoplastic disease in a patient intended to undergo immunogenic cell death therapy simultaneously, separately or sequentially with administration of the immunomodulator. The therapy can be selected from microwave irradiation, targeted radiotherapy, embolization, cryotherapy, ultrasound, high intensity focused ultrasound, cyberknife, hyperthermia, radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, electrotome heating, hot water injection, alcohol injection, embolization, radiation exposure, photodynamic therapy, laser beam irradiation, and combinations thereof.본 발명은 면역조절제의 투여와 동시에, 개별적으로 또는 순차적으로, 면역원성 세포사 치료법을 겪을 것으로 예상되는 환자에서의 신생물 질환의 치료 및/또는 제어에 사용하기 위한 면역조절제를 제공한다. 치료제는 마이크로파 조사, 표적화 방사선요법, 색전술, 냉동요법, 초음파 치료, 고강도 집속 초음파 치료, 사이버나이프, 고온요법, 고주파 절제, 동결절제, 전기절개도 가열, 온수 주사, 알코올 주사, 색전술, 방사선 노출, 광역학 요법, 레이저빔 조사 및 이들의 조합으로부터 선택될 수 있다.
