PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which properly fits a crotch section, and which is excellent in absorbency.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes: a front surface sheet 20 a rear surface sheet 30 and a first absorbent body 60 which is disposed from the berry side section 11 of a human being to the back side section 12 through the crotch section 13 between the front surface sheet 20 and the rear surface sheet 30. In the absorbent article 1, a slit S which penetrates the first absorbent body 60 from the front surface sheet 20 side to the rear surface sheet 30 side is formed in the first absorbent body 60 in the longitudinal direction of the first absorbent body 60.
