PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in mounting an exercise assist device so that a user can easily mount the exercise assist device without needing help from other people even when the user is not a healthy person.SOLUTION: Right and left belt side connectors are attached to a flexible waist part belt 12 that is detachably mounted on a waist part so as to surround the waist part of a user, and right and left frame side connectors 52 and 54 that disengageably engage with the belt side connectors are attached to a non-flexible frame 50 that is provided with right and left rotation force generation devices 56 and 58, etc. and extends through the front side of the waist part of the user.
