The present invention relates to a moxibustion rod received in or attached to a user′s ear and burned to provide a moxibustion effect and, more specifically, disclosed is a technical field related to a moxibustion rod for assisting treatment for otolaryngology diseases using illite and mugwort, wherein the moxibustion rod is manufactured by spraying and coating a mixed solution, in which illite, sericite, extracts of various kinds of medicinal herbs, and the like are mixed, on the outer surface of Korean traditional paper, fumigating the Korean traditional paper with fermented mugwort and pine needles, forming the fumigated Korean traditional paper into a cylindrical shape, immersing the formed Korean traditional paper in soy wax mixed with illite, and drying the immersed Korean traditional paper. A lower part of the moxibustion rod is received in or attached to the user′s earlobe or earhole and an upper part of the moxibustion rod is burned to move heat to a lower part to prevent smoke, and waves of sound and infrared rays and components of the mixed solution are transferred to the skin of the inside of the ear and the canal connected to the ear, thereby smoothening blood flow of five organs (the eyes, the nose, the ear, the tongue, and the skin) of the face and organs adjacent to the acoustic nerve. Also the moxibustion rod can be easily used. According to the present invention, the moxibustion rod provides effects of: transferring the effect of the moxibustion rod to the skin of the inside of the ear and the canal connected to the ear to smoothen the blood flow of the five organs of the face and the organs adjacent to the acoustic nerve; providing effectiveness, such as blood circulation, fatigue recovery, deep sleep, and the like, to the user′s body by the illite coated on the Korean traditional paper; and enabling the user to easily use the moxibustion rod without an assisting therapist by a blocking member coupled to the inside of the cylindr
