The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating diabetes or diabetic complications containing Quamoclit angulata extracts, and more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diabetes or diabetic complications, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or delaying aging, and to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer, wherein the compositions contain Quamoclit angulata extracts. The composition according to the present invention exhibits superior hypoglycemic effects, insulin secretion stimulating effects, proteinuria inhibitory effect and lenticular opacity reducing effects, and therefore exhibits remarkable effects in the prevention or treatment of diabetes or various diabetic complications.
