[Problem] To improve the feature of prior deodorizing/antibacterial agents that the effects and efficacy of the primary components are generally the same as known components and are unlikely to produce effects exceeding predictions. [Solution] This deodorizing/antibacterial agent uses as a primary raw material a loquat seed extract containing a nonvolatile fatty acid, at least benzaldehyde, and benzoic acid.
