PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care composition in which 4-alkylresorcinol and an ascorbic acid derivative having an excellent whitening effect to skin is stably blended into a water-in-oil emulsion, and having excellent formulation stabilization and use feeling.SOLUTION: A skin care composition includes: (1) 4-alkylresorcinol (2) an ascorbic acid derivative and (3) fatty acid sorbitan, and is a (W1+W2)/O type emulsion, thus the objective skin care composition is provided.
