The present invention may include an ultrasound probe, an ultrasound imaging apparatus, and a controlling method thereof. The ultrasound probe according to an aspect of the present invention may include an optical resonance waveguide which receives an echo ultrasound wave signal a calculation part which calculates an acoustic pressure based on a change in the wavelength of an optical signal traveling within the optical resonance waveguide, wherein the change is generated in response to the reception of the echo ultrasound wave signal and a conversion part which converts the echo ultrasound signal to an electric signal based on the calculated acoustic pressure.
