Described herein is an injectable prosthetic implant composition that is particularly useful for reinforcing soft tissue defects. The composition includes fine particles such as polymethylmethacrylate particles and collagen as a suspending agent. In this case, the amount of low molecular weight gelatin contained in the collagen is lower than that of high molecular weight collagen. By controlling the molecular weight of the collagen in the composition, the injectability, stability, and antigen induction of the artificial implant composition can be improved.
