PURPOSE: A bio-compatible material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce calcite crystal by using polyvinyl alcohol and poly aspartic acid. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of calcium carbonate crystal comprises: a step of dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in distilled water； a step of manufacturing Ca2+-PVA film after dissolving calcium in the solution； and a step of dipping the film in sodium carbonate solution in which polyaspartic acid is dissolved. The polyvinyl alcohol is dissolved in 50-150 ml distilled water at 50-150deg.C.본 발명은 바이오미네랄화 (biomineralization)를 통한 생체적합성 물질의 제작에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로 폴리비닐알콜 (poly (vinyl alcohol), PVA) 및 폴리아스파르트산 (poly (aspartic acid), PASP)을 이용하여 방해석(calcite) 결정을 제작하는 것에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 의한 calcite는 인공적인 생 (bio) 미네랄화 시스템을 구축한 것으로서, 바이오 미네랄화를 이해하는 데 도움을 주는 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 이 결과는 합성 고분자가 자연계에서의 생고분자 기능을 대체할 만한 능력을 가지고 있다는 점과 생 (bio) 모방 미네랄화가 재료의 향상을 위한 유망한 전략으로 쓰일만한 가능성이 있다는 점을 제시할 수 있다.
