The acquisition unit acquires a plurality of two-dimensional images in time series in a first phase when implementing treatment of a subject, and acquires the plurality of two-dimensional images in time series in a second phase after the first phase which is at the time of implementing treatment of the subject. The setting unit sets a second interest area corresponding to a first interest area which is set to the plurality of two-dimensional images in the first phase to the plurality of two-dimensional images in the second phase, using a three-dimensional image of the subject which is generated prior to the implementation of the treatment.
