PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of sterilizing a pillow by a simple work, and sterilizing optionally other articles storable in the device.SOLUTION: A sterilization device is constituted of a box-shaped body 2 for storing at least one pillow 12 or other articles to be sterilized, forced hyperventilation means 9 capable of sterilizing the pillow 12 or other articles by allowing a disinfectant to penetrate therethrough, and means 10, 11 for generating and discharging the disinfectant. The disinfectant is provided jointly with the forced hyperventilation means 9.
