PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable compositions that contain polyglycerin fatty acid esters having less than 10 glycerin units in order to obtain high biodegradability, and can provide a sufficient make-up removal power and a pleasant feel immediately after washing off.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition, more preferably a cleansing composition which contains: (a) at least one polyglycerin fatty acid diester and/or at least one polyglycerin fatty acid triester； (b) at least one polyglycerin fatty acid monoester； and (c) at least one oil, the components (a) and (b) containing: fatty acid moieties having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, preferably 7 to 20 carbon atoms, more preferably 8 to 18 carbon atoms； and less than 10, preferably 8 or less, more preferably 6 or less glycerin units, the average HLB value of components (a) and (b) being in the range of 8.0 to 11.0, preferably 8.5 to 10.5, more preferably 9.0 to 10.0.
