The present invention relates to a method for inhibition of melanogenesis which uses binding molecules of receptors for advanced glycation end products (AGEs). According to the present invention, compositions for preventing or treating diseases related to overgenesis of the melanin, food compositions and cosmetic compositions inhibit activation of the receptors for the AGEs and thus inhibit creation of the melanogenesis.
