The present invention relates to an advanced type water tank, for water culture which has a rectangular-shaped edge upwardly bent to store water for water culture, which firmly engages while maintaining the tightness by forming a downwardly protruding embossed groove on the bottom surface which successively connects drain plate, main plate and finishing plate, forming an downwardly cut intaglio groove on the top surface, and then making the embossed groove and intaglio groove engage with each other. According to the present invention, when combining the embossed groove with the intaglio groove by forming a distance between the embossed grooves wider than a distance between the intaglio grooves, the intaglio groove which maintains an empty space in between the embossed grooves is placed, thereby enabling a liquid-phase silicon filled in the intaglio groove engaging with the embossed groove to move to the empty intaglio groove according to the contact with the embossed groove.
