The present invention relates to a long branch-type method for cultivating grapevines. To that end, the present invention provides a method for cultivating grapevines by fixing auxiliary lines to support units. The method includes: a support unit installation step of installing support units at regular intervals； an auxiliary line fixing step of placing and fixing auxiliary lines to the support units in the horizontal direction； and a fruiting branch guiding step of guiding the fruiting branches of a grape vine. The auxiliary line fixing step includes: a main branch line fixing step of placing and fixing main branch lines to the support units； a guide line fixing step of placing and fixing guide lines to the support units above the main branch lines； and a fixing line fixing step of placing and fixing lines to the support units under the main branch lines.
