The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory composition comprising fermented abalone as an active ingredient and a method of using the same. Particularly, provided is an anti-inflammatory composition comprising fermented abalone, which has been fermented by lactic bacteria and has excellent inflammatory effect, as an active ingredient and a method of using the composition for prevention, treatment, and amelioration of inflammatory diseases.
