METHOD FOR CULTIVATING PLANT ON ARTIFICIAL CULTURE SOIL COMPRISING WATER-ABSORBING POLYMER, WATER-HOLDING BODY FOR PLANT, METHOD FOR USAGE FOR PRODUCING THE BODY, ROOT- ROTTEN INHIBITOR, METHOD FOR INHIBITING ROOT-ROTTEN BY THE INHIBITOR, AND WATER RETENTIVE AGENT AND METHOD FOR RETAINING WATER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating plants on artificial culture soil, by which plants can be grown on an artificial culture medium comprising water-absorbing polymer on artificial culture medium possible. SOLUTION: The method for the cultivating plants on the artificial culture soil comprises the following steps; pulling up a foliage plant, flowering plant 2, or flowering trees and shrubs each cultivated in soil culture medium 1 from the soil culture medium to wash the roots 21 thereof, as for the foliage plant, cutting short its roots after washed, growing the roots in conditioned medium 4 mixed with a small amount of ion exchange resin or additionally mixed with a small amount of water absorbing polymer for some days, continuously growing the plant while adding a small amount of the water absorbing polymer after recognition of newly taken roots, ensuring sufficient growth of the new roots followed by cultivating the plant on artificial culture soil 6 comprising the water absorbing polymer.
