PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier-free type plant protection structure for protecting plants from wheelchairs, bicycles, and pedestrians, and suitable for being set in welfare facilities, public facilities, hospitals and homes for the aged.SOLUTION: This plant protection structure is united by placing a welded wire net 2 which has square holes made by welding vertical metal wires 2a and 20a and horizontal metal wires 2b and 20b on the intersections, on a vegetation bottom board 1 which has many projecting parts 1a of an equal height and many opening parts, and inserting the upper parts of the projecting parts 1a of the vegetation bottom board 1 into the square holes 2c of the welded metal net 2. The welded metal net 2 is set with at least each one of the vertical and horizontal metal wires 20a and 20b which do not contact the projecting part 1a of the vegetation bottom board 1, between the vertical and horizontal metal wires 2a and 2b which contact the upper part of the projecting part 1a of the vegetation bottom board 1, and the vertical and horizontal metal wires 2a and 2b which contact the upper part of the projecting part 1a adjacent to the projecting part 1a.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】車椅子、自転車、歩行者等から植物を保護し、福祉施設、公共施設、病院、老人ホーム等に設置するのに適した、バリアフリー型の植物保護構造を提供する。【解決手段】高さが等しい多数の凸部1aと多数の開口部を有する植生用敷板1の上に、縦の金属線2a,20aと横の金属線2b,20bをその交点で溶接した角目を有する溶接金網2を載置し、植生用敷板1の凸部1aの上部を溶接金網2の角目2cに嵌め込んで一体化した植物保護構造であって、上記溶接金網2が、上記植生用敷板1の凸部1aの上部に接する縦横の金属線2a,2bと、その凸部1aに隣接する凸部1aの上部に接する縦横の金属線2a,2bとの間に、植生用敷板1の凸部1aに接しない縦横の金属線20a,20bを少なくとも1本以上設けた構成とする。【選択図】図1
