PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gradient magnetic field from being strained by eddy current on an RF shield in a coil device for a magnetic resonance diagnostic apparatus in which the RF shield is disposed between the RF coil and an active shield type gradient magnetic field coil, for blocking magnetic combination therebetween.
SOLUTION: On at least the outside of a main coil of an active shield type gradient magnetic field coil comprising a main coil (7) and an active shield coil (5) for generating a magnetic field to prevent the gradient magnetic field generated by the main coil (7) from leaking outside, a counter shield (13) to suppress an eddy magnetic field by eddy current generated on the RF shield is installed.
