PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact-sized device for measuring the direction of a rotary body supported by a support member.SOLUTION: A body support follow-up device comprises a placement part, an arm part, a placement part sensor 30, an arm part sensor 40, and a control unit. An arm of an operator is placed on the placement part and the arm part supports the placement part in a rotatable state around a placement axis 3a. The direction of the placement part rotating around the placement axis is defined as a placement part direction 35, and an axis extending in a different direction from the placement part direction and changing its orientation with rotation of the placement part is defined as a placement part reference axis 32. The placement part sensor detects a torque generated in the placement part reference axis. The arm part sensor detects a torque generated in an arm part front axis 41 and an arm part reference axis 42 which do not change their orientation with the rotation of the placement part. The control unit measures the placement part direction based on a ratio of a plurality of torques detected by these sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】装置の大型化を抑制しながら、支持部材により支持された回転体の向きを計測する。【解決手段】身体支持追従装置は、載置部と、アーム部と、載置部センサ30と、アーム部センサ40と、制御部とを備える。載置部には作業者の腕が載置され、アーム部は、載置軸3aを中心に回転可能な状態で載置部を支持する。また、載置軸を中心に回転する載置部の向きを載置部方向35とし、載置部方向とは異なる方向に延び、載置部の回転と共に向きが変化する軸を載置部基準軸32とする。載置部センサは、載置部基準軸に生じたトルクを検出する。また、アーム部センサは、載置部の回転と共に向きが変化しないアーム部正面軸41及びアーム部基準軸42に生じたトルクを検出する。そして、制御部は、これらのセンサにより検出された複数のトルクの比に基づき、載置部方向を計測する。【選択図】図5
