PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe preventing air bubbles from mixing into a liquid chemical.
SOLUTION: The syringe 1 includes a cylindrical cylinder 5, a plunger 10 freely slidably inserted into the cylinder, and an elastic ring 25 as a sealing member fitted to a square groove 17 formed on the outer periphery of the plunger. The cross sectional shape of the elastic ring 25 includes a rectangular inner side part to be fitted to the square groove and a roughly hemispherical outer side part projected to the outer side from the inner side part.
