PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly estimate the growth of lawn of a stadium.SOLUTION: The system for predicting the growth of the lawn in the stadium having a ground where the natural lawn is grown, objects blocking the light to the ground has a storing section for storing the time series data of the amount of solar radiation and the distributing data of light blocking rate of light by the objects at a plurality of grid points determined in the plane of the ground, and a predicting section carrying out photosynthesis simulation and growing simulation about the lawn every grid point by using the time series data of the amount of solar radiation and the distributing data of light blocking rate and predicting the growth of the lawn in the plane.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】スタジアムの芝の生育についての評価を簡易に、且つ、短時間で行う。【解決手段】天然の芝が育成されたグラウンドと、グラウンドへの光を遮る物体と、を備えたスタジアムにおける芝の生長の予測システムであって、グラウンド面内に定められた複数の格子点における日射量の時系列データと物体による光の遮光率の分布データを記憶する記憶部と、日射量の時系列データ及び遮光率の分布データを用いることによって、芝についての光合成シミュレーションおよび生長シミュレーションを格子点毎に行ない、芝の生長を面的に予測する予測部と、を有する。【選択図】図17
