PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical suture instrument for which work burdens of an operator are reduced.SOLUTION: The medical suture instrument includes: a suture thread introducing needle 3 a holder introducing needle 2 provided roughly in parallel and a prescribed distance away from the suture thread introducing needle 3 a suture thread holder 10 provided on a distal end side with a holding part 12 that can be housed inside the holder introducing needle 2 and restored to be a ring shape when coming out from the holder introducing needle 2, and slidably inserted into the holder introducing needle 2 a holder sending-back mechanism 20 for moving the suture thread holder 10 in an axial direction a suture thread sending mechanism 30 for sending out suture thread 1 to the distal end side of the suture thread introducing needle 3 and an operation part 40 for receiving operations from an operator. In linkage with the operations added to the operation part 40, the holder sending-back mechanism 20 is operated so as to project the holding part 12 from a distal end of the holder introducing needle 2, and the suture thread sending mechanism 30 is operated so as to project the suture thread 1 from a distal end of the suture thread introducing needle 3.
