To provide an excretion detector capable of reducing discomfort applied to a wearer and reducing compression and friction of a skin when being attached to a crotch part of an absorbent article.SOLUTION: An excretion detector 10 is attached to a crotch part 5B of an absorbent article 4 for detecting atmosphere information of the absorbent article 4. The excretion detector 10 comprises: a sensor part 71 for detecting the atmosphere information； and a housing 80 including therein, a sensor part 71.
