PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask capable of providing an appropriate seal to a relatively wide range of a face shape and size, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The respiratory mask includes: a body 10 adapted to define a cavity around the mouth and nose of a wearer in use, where the body includes an inlet port 13A capable of being engaged with a supply source of inspiratory gas and communicating to the cavity； and an elastic seal forming body 20 suspending from at least a part of a peripheral edge of the body. The elastic seal forming body 20 includes a lip portion 22 suspending inwardly and outwardly, with the peripheral edge of the body 10 defined as a reference.
